The Saturday Center for Psychotherapy has been serving the mental health needs of the community for over 30 years. Founded by Drs. Judith Davenport, Judith Sherven, and Judith Swerling, The Saturday Center filled a need in the mental health community of not only providing quality psychotherapy to persons of modest means, but also to provide advanced training that focused on the therapist as an instrument of change. They wanted new therapists to understand that quality work involves both thinking and feeling.

The Saturday Center remains committed to offering dynamic psychotherapy based on need rather than economics. We treat the whole person with a goal of health and wholeness, rather than simply focusing on eliminating symptoms and cutting costs. We know that therapists trained in this manner are better equipped to offer effective meaningful psychotherapy that leads to real and lasting benefits.
